Interests

Before being introduced to data technology, I earned a living as a professional musician/teacher and freelance writer. I have played hundreds of gigs in plenty of styles; but these days I am mostly interested in classical style. Egberto Gismonti.

I have been my own car mechanic since I was 16 and I've been told this disassemble <-> reassemble instinct was present at an early age. My favorite activity is sailing--I own a small and lovely Thistle. I have dabbled in electronics and am intent on revisiting chemistry which was my favorite subject in college.

I am applying much of what I have learned about finance to analyzing equities and real estate investments. I am studying for my Series 65.
